RA's Assembly was about Holy days and Holidays. We sang 'We're going to the zoo' and told everone about the animals and insects we like. We told the story of Pentecost and said a prayer about the Holy Spirit. Everyone clapped at the end and Mrs Aldorino was really proud of everyone.

Professor Ebdon CBE came to our school today to talk to us about the Queen's Diamond Jubilee. He told us about the previous Kings and Queens of the country.

We found out that Queen Victoria was the only other person to have a Diamond Jubilee and Professor Edbon showed us his medal and the award that the University of Bedfordshire got from the Queen.

Professor Edbon told us about all of the Jubilee celebrations that will be happening around the country.

This week our class has been doing Bikeability. We have learnt lots of skills, although there was some bad weather. It has been fun especially being in the top group. We started on Tuesday 8th May 2012 and we finished on Friday 11th May 2012.
We did Bikeability so that we could ride a bike safely on the road. We went out on the road where their was lots of cars. There was three groups lead by the Bikeability instructors.

This week me and my year group did a biking course called Bikeability, which is a really fun biking course for kids my age. At first we were learning the basics in our school playground, then we went on the road where we had the most fun time of all. I think Bikeability has helped me a lot in my bike riding skills and I will try to remember everything they taught me and use it in the future
